The Kia Seltos is about to go through an intensive mid-cycle refresh that will leave it modernized and better suited than ever to the current market. The first units of this model should arrive towards the end of 2023, for the 2024 model year.
The next Kia Seltos will distinguish itself from the current model with a number of changes that will allow it to stay in line with the most recent Kia models in terms of appearance. For example, the front and rear bumpers will receive a more prominent brightwork area that mimics the appearance of a skid plate to convey a more rugged image.
Another example of the changes that will be made to the outside is the grille, which will be revised to incorporate the LED strip of the daytime running lights differently than the current model. Instead of following the upper polished metal surround of the grille like on the 2022 Seltos, the new model will have its light element towards the middle of the black grille, which will highlight this distinctive feature.
The next generation of the Kia Seltos will also feature an entirely reworked interior that is more modern and more technological than ever before. The center console will be modified to house new controls for the audio system and the climate control system and the traditional shift lever for the automatic transmission will give way to a new rotary shift knob like the one found in the Niro, the EV6, and the new Sportage hybrid.
The most noticeable change inside, however, will be the addition of the two new 10,25-inch digital displays for the instruments and the infotainment system. These screens are mounted high on the instrument panel in a single housing, which gives the impression of a very large single screen. This makes the interior look much more modern and it makes it easier to reach the touchscreen for every driver.
