The 2026 Kia Seltos brings serious performance upgrades to the compact SUV segment. The biggest news is the available 1.6L turbo engine that delivers 195 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque.
This turbocharged option significantly increases the standard 2.0L engine's output to 147 hp. The turbo is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission for smooth power delivery.
Engine Options Pack Real Performance
The Seltos offers two distinct powertrains for different driving needs. The base 2.0L 4-cylinder MPI engine produces 147 hp at 6,200 rpm and 132 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. This engine connects to an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT).
For drivers wanting more power, the 1.6L Turbo GDI engine steps up with 195 hp at 6,000 rpm and 195 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm. The turbo engine uses an 8-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with all-wheel drive.

The 2026 Seltos includes a 10.25" multimedia interface with integrated navigation. The system supports wireless smartphone connectivity and includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
